Roses to please the eye,
Charmed with all the stars in the universe,
But not enough to steal the truth,
From a sincere comrade.

Tears flow through an eternal rest across a vanquishing face,
Where deaths shadow is undaunted,
Drop by drop we fall into oblivion,
Mercilessly whipped away be defeat.

Black tears stream down a bloody rose.
The world goes on, and why are we here?
To contribute a verse to this world.
Not I, not I.

The night weeps for its blanket,
As I go boldly into the night,
Fearless from the sight,
And balked without a fight.
